The Signing Ceremony
We concluded MOU with three Russian developers regarding information exchange for further cooperation about smart city.
We concluded MOU with followings:
・SEVERO-ZAPAD INVEST Ltd. (Saint Petersburg)
・LLC KVARTSTROY (Nizhny Novgorod)
・KRASNOYARSK CITY LLC (Krasnoyarsk)

Press Conference
Press conference was held after the signing ceremony. There is Q&A session with 40 people from about 30 companies of Japanese/Russian media. The event generated a huge public reaction from media in both Japan and Russia such as NHK news, The Nikkei and Tokyo shimbun.

Lectures
Lectures are held by MLIT, JBIC and Smart City Planning, inc. from Japan’s side and REA, local government and four private developers from Russia’s side. There are approximately 200 participants and the event achieved a big success.

Exhibition
Smart City Planning inc. , Nikken Sekkei Ltd. and MLIT exhibited about: Japanese companies’ approaches about urban development and energy-saving/environmental technology; urban development in Russia; and Japan-Russia environmental conference (tentative name) and they attract participants.

We will consider further possibilities regarding smart city development in Russia.
