For the total optimization of urban functions, it is necessary to conduct surveys and make analysis on the constraints and needs of the local communities, which differ from one city to another, and examine solutions based on the results. Under the Smart City Project, participating companies will collaborate with each other based on the Open Innovation System established to help the companies freely share information and exchange opinions. Through this system, the companies will establish a “one-stop total solution” for the total optimization of the city. We aim to develop this advanced model into a “social infrastructure system” and implement the system not only in Japan but also across the world.
